These Terms of Use govern the use of Solano County Event Guide, including its website, event listings, business listings, advertising, featured placements, submissions, communications, and related services. The Service may include both free and paid features, including advertising, sponsorships, promoted content, and premium placement.

1. About Solano County Event Guide

Solano County Event Guide is an independently owned and operated advertising, local media, and event-discovery business serving Solano County, California.

The Service helps residents and visitors discover events, businesses, restaurants, nightlife, wineries, attractions, family activities, entertainment, and other things to do while providing businesses and organizations with advertising and promotional opportunities.

2. Independent Business — No Government Affiliation

Solano County Event Guide is a private business.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, or an official service or publication of the County of Solano, any city within Solano County, or any other governmental entity.

The name “Solano County” describes the geographic area primarily served by the business and does not imply government ownership, authorization, endorsement, or affiliation.

3. Event & Business Information

Information appearing on Solano County Event Guide is provided primarily for informational and discovery purposes.

Events, business hours, prices, locations, availability, schedules, admission requirements, promotions, and other information may change without notice.

Solano County Event Guide does not guarantee that every listing or piece of information is complete, current, accurate, available, or error-free. Users should verify important information directly with the applicable event organizer, venue, business, ticket provider, or other authoritative source before relying on it.

4. Event & Business Submissions

Businesses, venues, event organizers, and other authorized individuals may submit information for consideration where submission functionality is available.

Submission does not guarantee approval, publication, continued publication, featured placement, a specific position, number of views, clicks, customers, attendees, sales, or other results.

Solano County Event Guide retains editorial discretion regarding the selection, categorization, presentation, placement, modification, and removal of content.

5. Submitted Content

Anyone providing text, photographs, graphics, logos, event information, business information, promotional materials, advertisements, links, or other content represents that they have the authority and necessary rights to provide those materials.

Submitters remain responsible for the content they provide.

By providing content for publication or promotion, the submitter grants Solano County Event Guide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, format, resize, crop, display, publish, distribute, and otherwise use the material as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Service and applicable listing, event, business, advertisement, or promotion. Ownership of the submitter's intellectual property is not transferred to Solano County Event Guide.

6. Advertising, Featured Listings & Promotional Placement

Solano County Event Guide may offer advertising, sponsorships, featured businesses, promoted events, premium placements, enhanced listings, and other paid promotional services.

Paid or commercial content may be identified with terms such as “Featured,” “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” or “Promoted,” when appropriate.

Purchasing advertising or promotional placement does not constitute an endorsement, certification, warranty, or guarantee by Solano County Event Guide.

Unless specifically agreed to in writing, advertising or promotional placement does not guarantee any particular number of impressions, views, clicks, leads, customers, attendees, sales, revenue, or other commercial result.

7. Paid Services & Payments

Some Solano County Event Guide services may be free while others may require payment.

Pricing, duration, placement, deliverables, payment requirements, cancellation terms, and other material conditions applicable to a paid service will be disclosed in connection with the applicable transaction.

Payment processing may be provided by independent third-party payment processors operating under their own terms and privacy practices.

8. Third-Party Businesses, Events & Services

Solano County Event Guide may provide information or links concerning businesses, restaurants, wineries, venues, event organizers, ticket sellers, advertisers, sponsors, reservation providers, social-media platforms, and other third parties.

These third parties operate independently.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, their inclusion on Solano County Event Guide does not mean that Solano County Event Guide owns, controls, guarantees, certifies, or endorses them.

9. Event Safety & Responsibility

Solano County Event Guide generally does not organize, operate, manage, supervise, or control independently organized events or venues.

Users are responsible for evaluating activities and exercising reasonable judgment regarding transportation, crowds, weather, physical activities, food, alcohol, venues, and other circumstances associated with attending events or visiting businesses.

10. Solano County Event Guide Intellectual Property

Except for submitted content and third-party materials, original Solano County Event Guide branding, logos, graphics, written materials, designs, site organization, databases, interfaces, and other original content may be protected by copyright, trademark, unfair-competition, and other applicable laws.

Use of the Service does not transfer ownership of Solano County Event Guide intellectual property to users.

11. Privacy & Communications

Personal-information practices associated with Solano County Event Guide are addressed in the separate Privacy Policy.

Providing contact information in connection with an event submission, advertising inquiry, purchase, business inquiry, or other interaction permits Solano County Event Guide to communicate as reasonably necessary regarding that interaction, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOLANO COUNTY EVENT GUIDE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

Solano County Event Guide does not guarantee that the Service or information appearing through it will always be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, current, available, reliable, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms limits any legal right or protection that cannot lawfully be waived.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solano County Event Guide and its operator will not be liable for certain indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, reliance on event or third-party information, canceled or changed events, third-party transactions or conduct, or loss of business opportunities, anticipated profits, goodwill, or data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
